New Albany Sports (“the League,” “we,” “us”) operates the recreational youth sports leagues at Bevelhymer Park and this website and its related mobile application (together, the “Service”).
We use this information solely to operate the League: building rosters and schedules, showing standings, enabling team communication, sending the notifications you have chosen (email, text message, or push), delivering urgent weather and safety alerts, and providing support. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
If you opt in to text messages, we send youth-sports notifications such as game and practice reminders, weather and safety alerts (for example lightning warnings and rainouts), schedule changes, and team announcements. Message frequency varies with the sports season. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or by turning off SMS in Settings → Notifications, and you can reply HELP or contact us for assistance.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding vendors and service providers acting on our behalf (for example, our SMS delivery provider), and sharing with such subcontractors for support services such as customer service is permitted.
We share personal information only with service providers that run the Service on our behalf — SMS delivery (Twilio), email delivery (SendGrid), and cloud hosting (Google Cloud) — and only as needed to provide it. Team rosters and messages are visible to the appropriate team members, coaches, and league administrators inside the Service. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of participants.
Accounts are for adults (parents, guardians, coaches, officials, and volunteers). Player profiles are created and controlled by a parent or guardian; we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. A parent or guardian may review or remove their child’s information at any time in the Family section or by contacting us.
You can update your information and notification choices in Settings, export a copy of your data from Settings → Privacy & Data, and deactivate your account there as well. We retain league records only as long as needed to operate the League or as required by law.
If we make material changes to this policy we will update the effective date above and notify account holders through the Service. See also our Terms & Conditions.
