By creating an account or using New Albany Sports (the “Service”), you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. The Service is operated by New Albany Sports, the recreational youth sports leagues played at Bevelhymer Park (“the League”).
Accounts are for adults aged 18 or older. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials private, and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use of your account. Player profiles may be created only by the player’s parent or legal guardian.
The Service is a community space for families. Do not post content that is unlawful, harassing, or inappropriate for a youth-sports setting; do not misuse messaging to send spam or solicitations; and do not attempt to access other users’ data. The League may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Text notifications are optional and are sent only to users who opt in (see Settings → Notifications). Message frequency varies with the sports season. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time and HELP for help, or contact us at the address below. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of participating in the League.
You keep ownership of the messages and photos you post. You grant the League permission to store and display them within the Service to the appropriate teams and league staff so the Service can function.
The Service is provided “as is.” Schedules may change, and notifications — including weather and lightning alerts — are delivered on a best-effort basis and can be delayed or fail. Alerts are an aid, never a substitute for on-site judgment: always follow the direction of coaches and league officials, and seek shelter when conditions look dangerous regardless of whether an alert has arrived.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the League and its volunteers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced through the Service and the effective date above updated. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.
